HBO’s hit vampire drama “True Blood” is treating fans with new show posters every week as part of its marketing campaign promoting the debut of the highly anticipated third season. The show will be distributing a dozen “True Blood”-themed posters in a nod to the fans.
Beginning Thursday, the cable channel will distribute the posters online, with one debuting each week for 12 consecutive weeks. The posters will appear on the channel’s branded sites, including HBO.com and the show’s Facebook page.
The posters feature imagery and taglines from the program’s favorite moments, popular themes, and insider storylines.
“True Blood” – starring real life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer – details the co-existence of vampires and humans in a fictional Louisiana town. Its third season debuts on June 13.
