I can´t figure out the invitation thing either. I mean the invitation has to be sincere to "work" legally as a way in? Glamouring would be illegal, a no-no in that case...

I don´t think what Franklin did with Tara was old school glamouring. Maybe 50% glamouring 50% lust (on Tara´s sideinnocent:

^^i also thought he glamoured Tara to get in her house...but that got me thinking, why even have that "can't enter the house without permission" thing when they can just glamour themselves in?!

Yeah that is pointless.

Also how come the vamps can see themselves in mirrors. That's one of the main folklaws about vampires. They can't see their reflextions but yet Pam was putting on her makeup in the bathroom in Ep 2.

I don't mind it but it's just one of those vampire things you expect.

i dont watch that show, but i put it on last night while i was waiting for another show, and i seen her in the 'previously on..' part!

That's right. Vampires created that myth so that when a vampire was seen and they had a reflection, humans would think they were not vampires because afterall, they're not supposed to have a reflection.

Vampires can glamour themselves into an invitation because they only need a human to say the words, "Come in". Really, humans should be made aware of this, and then when vampires come near, just run away.

I kept yelling for Tara to stop talking to him and go back in the house but noooo... she just had to stand there and keep blabbing...

right now I'm not that interested in the Sam, Tara or Jason storyline, but there have only been three episodes, so I'm sure they will become more interesting.

i love Sam, Tara and Jason, but i'm not really interested in Sam's story, although it could get more interesting. i wish they'd include the Newlins more, they were hilarious
i don't like the "jason as a cop" thing at all, but Hot Shot was introduced, so we (who've read the books) can guess where they're going with that. i hope Tara becomes more like S1 Tara again, can't stand the whiny Tara

I finally watched ep.3 and now I know which "last scene" you guys were talking about!! Would that kill Lorena or would she heal from that? I actually like Lorena, maybe not her character but I think she's pretty.

PAM is my new favorite!!! She's so sassy!

Tara, don't even get me started. I never liked her and wth was that with him and Franklin. It looked she was doing what that devil woman who hypnotized them does.

I'm new to True Blood, I watched the first 2 seasons in about a month and at last I'm up to date, so I can finally look on this thread! Love the series, Jason, Lafayette and Andy are HILARIOUS!

Also I picked this up in a store, it's pretty cool (and tastes good too)!
