True Blood

^I agree it's really hard to wait. I got so sick of waiting in between Seasons 1 and 2 that I read 8 of the books.

just watched the second ep (yeah, i know i'm late)
liked it better than the first, but somehow i'm not that interested in the show anymore:ninja:
maybe tonight's ep will get me interested again since the Eric-storyline finally begins

i feel the same way, i used to think it was so racy and shocking when i first watched season 1 but really when you compare it to other shows by showtime and hbo, true blood isnt really that out there (in terms of sex, violence etc.)

^I think Game of Thrones knocked True Blood off it's throne in terms of violence, sex, etc.
My interest started to drift during Season 3 of True Blood, but it appears to be back on the right track this season. Hopefully that sticks.

i'm just not that interested in the characters or story anymore. there's just too much going on. i can barely make myself watch the episodes anymore:(

Watched the latest episode and I can't really judge yet but I found this 'new' Eric endearing and cute?! unbelievable, I know.

I agree. There are just too many storylines.

I don't know anybody that gives two hoots about Sam and Tommy. Andy is just a major loser now. Arlene's devil baby is just not needed. As much as I like Jessica and Hoyt sorry I'm bored.

Jason's storyline is just gross I fast forward. It's r*pe. It's r*pe and I read that the writers are going with the it's because he was such a manwhore the character deserves it excuse. Like it's his karma or whatever. I want this storyline to be over now.

I'm only interesting in Sookie, Bill, Eric and Tara getting involved with the guys and the witches cause that is gonna get interesting. And of course I love Pam.

Next ep looks interesting. So any theories on who is the spirit is? Eric's childhood sweet heart maybe. His first vamp kill? I better be something really awesome.

Sookie was all no nonsense which was great until she just stood there and let Eric kill her fairy godmother. She didn't even try to help.

Great episode! I wish it could just focus on Eric and Sookie, the rest of the storylines are kind of dull atm.
Although, if it follows the books things with Debbie should get interesting.

I loved the part when Sookie is down in Eric's "chamber" and he blocks her way. So hot.
I saw a glimpse of old Eric peeping through.

^^ yea i agree you Label, that scene at the end with jason was terrible, I couldnt even watch it. And also the fact that there were girls waiting in line for their "turn" was distasteful on the writer's part. They shouldnt have done that.

They need to get rid of Andy and Tommy

^Yes and no. He was kidnapped and bitten by a jealous guy who used to date Crystal, thinking that she wouldn´t love him if he´s turned into a were panther.

My favorite moments from last night: "Snookie" LOL
Sookie is reading a Charlaine Harris novel :)
Eric´s apologetic face after killing Claudine awww so cute!
Pam´s outfit, really cool.

WTF with Claudine´s death?! they really messed up with that story imo :(
IA with all of you about too many storylines, they should make a 40 min show instead of an hour one and loose all those characters than -I´m sure- NO ONE cares about! and if they must have an hour show then focus on the main characters from the books (plus Tara and Lafayette) and spend time developing their stories.
There are too many quality shows out there (just in AMC alone) to start boring people out of their minds like this...

 at Eric calling Sookie "Snooki" and also the fact that the book Sookie was reading at the end was by Charlaine Harris.

That made me laugh too. Love that Eric is less dorky now, he´s still childish but in a good way.

I couldn´t care less for Jason and all his story of feline tragedy...

Tara does look hot. They got her a good weave, Finally!! :D
The actress that plays her, Rutina Wesley is gorgeous.

Jason's storyline is completely different from the books. In the books, Felton kidnaps him and attacks him. Crystal has nothing to do with it. And it's all a lot more light-hearted.

I felt like this ep was all over the place.
(I did watch it, although I just said I wanted to wait until the end of the season :innocent:)

Tara looks hot, but I don't like Lafayette all in love. I really don't care for Jesus, but I guess they needed someone to introduce Lafayette to the coven...
Arlene and her devil baby could be interesting...
What happened to jessica and hoyt? They were so cute last season...
And I don't like Bill as the king now, and I wish his house was still the same, with jessica living with him.
Claudine and the fairy storyline confuses me. Is the death of Claudine already the end of this storyline or what? I feel like the first episode (with Sookie in fairyland) was totally useless.
Jason storyline is really gross. I didn't like the storyline one bit in the book, and it's even worse on the show.
Eric is really cute though .

^Yeah... I think it's just really unnecessary, and distracts me from more important plots
Eric not remembering who he is is kind of adorable to me. I just can't stop staring at his body

I feel like there are too many subplots.. I don't care too much about Jason's storyline, Tommy can GTFO, Jessica and Hoyt seem pretty pointless thus far and Andy's addiction to V is just redundant.

It should just be the Eric Northman Show:lol: Featuring a healthy helping of Pam, Sookie, a little bit of Bill and A LOT of Alcide.. Shirtless, preferably. :shifty:
