True Blood

As much as i like bill.. im getting bored w/ him and sookie's romance. I want eric and sookie together..

I feel guilty..but I crave seeing Sookie and Eric together:blush:.

I think Sookie kinda feels the same...She says she hates Eric, but then again she stares at him.....

^ Yes, I want to see them together too.
I also miss the Newlins...they were funny

^ agreed. newlins were hysterical. any more of them in another book?

Not really. The Newlins were actually only in one or two chapters of Book 2 and that was just when Sookie was locked in the basement of the Fellowship. Their characters were made massively bigger parts on the show. Jason had nothing to do with them or Dallas in the books. There's not any more of Sarah Newlin in another book (that I remember), but Steve and another nameless Fellowship member make a very brief appearance in one chapter of Book 3. The fellowship as whole is mentioned sometimes in book 7, but they aren't actually "seen". I don't really know how to explain that without giving away a certain plot point from that book. None of that necessarily means anything though because the show doesn't follow the books that closely and they change things all the time so there is always a possibility that they could come back on the show in a bigger way than they do in the books.

I gotta say this:
I was watching the "Masters of Horror" episodes, and I noticed, in the opening credits, there's one rat (seems one) that is dead, like the fox, in the opening credits of True Blood. And the blood falling, too. As the many "disturbing images"(not thay much lol) put together. True Blood may have used the idea to create it, couldn't it?

^I don´t see a resemblance... TB´s opening is more about south imagery than creepy images imo

I was talking about the way yhey put images, and the part of the fox, basically. I just couldn't not remember True Blood in the rat part.

interview with sam trammell (Sam) he doesn't really talk too much about truw blood, just about him shooting all the naked scenes
he looks SO GOOD here, and he's funny...i think i have a new crush

btw, anyone who needs a livestream for tonight (without anything to d/l) go here
at least it says that they'll show true blood on that channel

Uh. Did not like this episode.. through the whole thing I was just like "eh.. when's the goods stuff gonna happen?" LOL. And spoilers in white the whole Bill asking Sookie to marry him is so wrong. I get that it's different from the books and all.. but Alan Ball is obviously a Bill fan.. and way too much of a fan, because season 2 should have been setting something else up (like asking Eric to go with her to the party in the book because she trusted him) Because in book 3 Bill plans on leaving Sookie for Lorena.. and that's a huge part of the plot later. Sigh. Rant over.

^^
I agree except on the Bill part because I'm a huge fan of bill also I think that Eric should have been more into the Sookie and Bill love story. Also I really want to know what is Sookie?

all i have to say is that I love Bill, I hope Alan doesn't follow the Sookie/Eric story, and I don't know how I'm gonna wait for next season

She has fairy blood which is probably where her powers were coming from.

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying that up for me Katherine because I haven't read the books and never knew about them until the first season.

really anti-climatic finale. it felt very rushed and i missed pam/eric. the queen/erw was unbearable as expected, DNW her in the next season...ugh
i don't mind the proposonal that much because it just intensifies bills betrayal...if they stick to that. but instead of focusing on sookies sttraction towards eric due to the blood (which only happens later in the books) they should have shown that she's slowly trusting him or at least turning to him for help.
