Man i am glad i didnt read any of the books, or i would have been pissed with all the changes, i just know it! Will rather wait when the show ends to read them, ha!

I don´t mind all the changes as long as they (I think I said this a gazillion times) don´t mess with Sookie & Eric story...
Tara´s story seems like the only one close to the books but could the rednecks be the weres who live near Bon Temps? and maybe Jesus Velazquez is taking the place of Alcide?

and i guess they stick to the main storyline of bill being captured...i don't think they'll include the r*pe-scene, but i hope they'll stick to the breakup of bill and sookie, so we get cute helpless eric in season 4 and all the sexy scenes with sookie without a bill around

oh and btw, i hope alan noticed how much fans LOVE pam, so here's hoping for more f***ing pam!!!!
and yeah, i liked book 4 eric, but sometimes i missed the "dangerous" eric in it. i mean he never did anything to sookie, but i like how he played with his more evil side

generally i hope they're gonna include more fangtasia scenes, i love that white-trash human bartender/daykeeper (always forget her name)

I really hope they don't keep Bill as the main guy forever...it just doesn't work that way. I like Stephan Moyer but the Eric/Sookie SL is the best!

-Alan confirms that Alcide will appear beginning in episode 3.03. He has not yet been cast.

-Regarding Bubba, Alan says that he loves the character in the books, but “because he’s Elvis there’s no way we can do it” on the show.

-Alan Ball isn't a fan of celebrity/stunt casting. He doesn't think Snoop will get his wish to vamp out in season 3

-“I will admit to oftentimes saying, ‘Come on, can we just get his [Ryan Kwanten's] shirt off?’”

-Raelle Tucker reveals a soft spot for Lafayette: “I am a dirty little sl*t for Lafayette, even if I’m not his type.”

-Alan acknowledged that the maenad storyline went on for too long

-Alan knows what the fans want: “Alexander Skarsgard appears without most of his clothes in the very first episode of S3.”

-We find out where Bill is in episode 3.01.

-Fans in the audience are expressing their unhappiness with Evan Rachel Wood as Sophie-Anne. Alan takes it in stride.

-Alan Ball: "There are a big boatload of new characters in S3. Even the Newlins may appear again."

-And something else for Team Eric: Alan confirms that Eric will get amnesia in season 4.

-Alan says we’ll see more Pam and Nan Flanagan (maybe during some trouble at Fangtastia) in season 3, groans at mention of pink spandex.

-And we will be seeing more Godric in flashbacks during S3.

-Season 3 will premiere in June 2010


- does that mean no break up between bill and sookie?!
- they should skip season 3 and continue with season 4
- i hope he heard the fans and won't include too much of the queen

Season three will be about "identity," as the various characters figure out who they are: Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) investigates his biological parents and his shapeshifter heritage, Sookie (Anna Paquin) "gets closer to the answer" of why she has that flashy fairy power—and why bro Jason (Ryan Kwanten) doesn't; and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) explores her newfound vampirism. As producer Raelle Tucker told us, "Jessica's going through an identity crisis, and needing to suck blood to survive doesn't make [being a teenager] any easier. But she's really finding who she is...but when you have fangs, there are some missteps along the way that can be quite dangerous."
