i think the hair was a little darker?! or longer...and the white shirt probably helped as well but damn, i'd almost prefer that bill to eric

ETA: maybe it's just the bangs?! when their more to the side or they put a little gel (or whatever) in them...he looks almost like in season 2 in this pic

I've just watched the first two episodes of True Blood on DVD and I'm hooked! I don't think I can wait until next week to receive disc 2 from netflix.

I'm off to find the rest of the 1st season online!

Have those of you that read the books recommend it? Is it better than the show itself?

i think the books are not for everyone. i personally liked them, others didn't...
they're written from sookies perspective, so her and her problems are the main storyline, the show is a lot more diverse with different angles. generally i think the books are nice, easy reads, if you're into mystery and supernatural stuff definitely for you, but don't expect the funny jason moments or a lot of tara...

The books are amazing. Its a mix of Anne Rice and Laurell K Hamilton.

I prefer them to the show. I highly highly recommend them. =)

I finally watched both seasons...sucks that the 3rd season won't begin airing until June 2010! My only complaint is that there is not enough Eric! Tara is probably the most annoying character...well her and Eggs. Never got into their storyline.
