I read on trueblood news it says its webisodes but i dont think anybody knows for certain, they haven't gave out much information about them..

HBO’s marketing group is working closely with Alan Ball and the True Blood production team to create several, short-form mini True Blood episodes that will be a part of the campaign leading up to the premiere of season 3.

I’m guessing we should be looking for these in June. Watch for more information coming out soon.

Great news for you Jessica-Hoyt fans! HBO hasn’t responded to request for comment, but I’ve heard that plans are under way to create a series of Jessica-centric (Deborah Ann Woll) webisodes in support of the upcoming season three. The webisodes will tell the story of what happens when Bill’s little baby vamp goes out into the big wide world on her own. Will she eat everybody? Will she be eaten? Tune in to find out!

Hey, I've read all the True Blood books so far and am totally addicted to them, but I'm not sure whether trying to watch the tv adaptations will spoil the books for me... Is the show really that good? And has anyone else read the books as well as watched the series?

^I´ve read them and I watch the show. The show is similar to the books but a lot of minor book characters on the show have more presence and storylines. imo the show is that good, different enough that I can enjoy it and not being bored.
I watched season 1 first and then read all the books

Am reading the books right now to fill the void. I'm enjoying them a lot, they're an easy read and very entertaining. The show is a lot dirtier, sexier, funnier and darker but the books are very satisfying as well.

I just finished book 4 last night.... can't wait to start 5 tonight
