So excited to see Fiona Shaw added to the cast and playing a witch no less. Oh the irony.

Spoilers from my HBO magazine I get in the mail!

-Season 4 picks up one year after the end of Season 3.
-Sookie and Bill have not made up.
-Sookie back from fairyland and on the rebound, reported suitors include everyone's favorite werewolf Alcide and Viking vampire Eric.
-Eric gets his memory erased, by a new character Marnie (Fiona Shaw), an insecure palm reader possessed by a powerful witch.
-detective Andy Bellefleur experiments with V (to disastrous effect).
-Hoyt defends Jessica from a mob of vengeful humans.
-Jason becomes a full-fleged officer of the law.

I'm not going to say more than that because the other spoilers are too big.

I've read the books, so I have a general idea of what happens.
And so far this season sounds pretty close to the book.
I wonder what's going on with Hoyt and that creepy doll??

And I'm really excited to see all the changes that Jason goes through.

There were some really crazy characters in True Blood, one of them was Franklin Mot, played by James Frain.
(James Frain also played this strong character Thomas Cromwell in 'The Tudors')

don't know what to make of it yet, but those fairies at the end remind me of the witches of "The Witches"...i had terrible nightmares of that damn movie as a kid. i still can't look at a painting in my parents living-room because i'm too scared people will move around in it
