A detail I've been noticing in a lot of shows recently.

I noticed that a lot in the spring collections. A few seasons back Tom Ford showed another type of twisting at Gucci.

It's a good technique to hide, ahem, figure flaws. :P
don't i know it...hahaha  i have some of those flaws myself... :innocent:

roxanne heptner does great tops and dresses with all sort of draping that are very nice and very much along these lines...but at a fraction of the cost...around $300-400... :flower:

i think it's pretty :flower:

and i don't know why but the circling always makes me laugh

Wow, on second glance, those first few dresses are so similar you could almost think that there were all from the same designer. I know Dior did it for last fall, but then spring/summer it showed upp everywhere. I remember seeing a magazine cover with someone wearing a white Valentino dress that was almost identical to that white rubber Dior one.

there certainly is a knot/twist/tied up trend out there, good eye as usual igni :flower:

I like it. I think it looks cool B)

I think knotting is to make a dress more body-conscious. It sort of makes the dress hugs the body.

It still adds interest.. even if they're all at it
I agree, it's a very nice look.
