Much, much better than the US cover (who likely had first dibs, LOL), but I can't recall the last time Dylan shared a cover. Certainly not a move, I think, he'd fully endorse and the 'World Exclusive' tagline makes it all the more cringe.

Looking through the shoot, it struck me how much better of a cover this shot would have made than the one Will Welch chose. And then I saw this. Easily one of the best UK GQ covers I’ve seen in a while. Love how close to monochrome it is.

Interesting this is the first time UK GQ have been part of a global shoot like this... Is much harder to refuse in the future... with cost cuttings i wonder if this will now become more regular. UK Elle seem to be doing these most months.

Maybe the issue is not 'we're cutting costs because we just don't have the budget' but rather 'we're cutting costs because CN wants to rob Peter to give to Paul'. I refuse to believe UK GQ has money troubles. They run on an engaged audience with a weekly e-zine filled to brim with advertising, then there are the events, the seasonal GQ Style editions which are actually filled with more than 5 edits, unlike the US edition. Plus they shoot original cover and fashion edits 11 times a year.

Agreed regarding going forward. Dylan won't be able to refuse after this little effort.
