UK Harper's Bazaar August 2010 : Marion Cotillard by Cedric Buchet

It was the worst freebie I've ever had. It's seriously got the worst manufacturing I've ever seen. Obviously I'm aware it's free, but even so, I've never quite seen anything so bad.

^obviously its free but the quality was extremely poor, like you said, and did you see how terrible the quality of the top that came with ELLE was ? and the sizing, there was no way that was meant for an adult

Why do these American editors put her on their covers if they hate her so much. First Vogue, now this. She is too beautiful to be looking this rough. The colors are lovely on the newsstand cover and the styling from the neck down is great, but that HAIR. It's so unflattering it ruins the whole shot.

And the subscribers cover is just terrible. She looks like a corpse.

^ You realize Harper's Bazaar UK isn't American nor is it's editor American, right? :innocent:

^I second that, her eds are great and this is no exception

Maybe it's because I skipped the two 'summer' issues and have therefore forgotten how great this magazine can be, but I bought this today and really liked the page design.

I feared that because it was such a thin issue, that there wouldn't be much content. But everything was so visually striking, I was satisfied with what I saw. The mood was quite dark, the sense of drama was all in the shadows, and what a woman might be hiding.

I was also relieved to see that the 'new Brazilian' referred to the hair straightening treatment, rather than a new method of torture for where the sun doesn't shine.

Having been alerted to the quality of the free bag, I was prepared for the fact that I had to sit there for five minutes and snip all the loose threads from the seams, before it looked half-reasonable - and I'm only intending to use it for laundry.

Normally I don't really like Michel Comte, I think his work is very uninspired, stale and repetitive, but these two eds are suprsingly good.

Great Issue, thx for scanning.

Hannelore ed is amazing :o the shot in Bottega  she's such a great model.
