And the Natalia pic they chose is hideous.

I find the image they decided to print rather distasteful. And accompanied by that same old "oh she smiles and is always pregnant and skinny - AND manages to masterfully choose handbags" - just really rather stupid.

don't you think they're actually trying to simplifying her with that bad pic and such a stupid review of her style to justify themselves in front of the mass market that buys a 'mainstream' magazine such as Bazaar and expects to relate to the featured 'celebs'?. it kinda sounded like that to me . they'd probably get about a hundred complains if they had chosen that wonderful pic of her in Rick Owens jacket and jazz shoes instead of the easy, cheesy one in piiink that most people can [unfortunately] relate to.. relate to at least the pre-conceived images of annoying 'glamour', that is.
but I don't know.. meh. it seems like they picked the least representative pictures of everyone in the list.

Yeah, maybe they're trying to make her look less perfect than she is while saying she is perfect. Could be....gotta make people feel good about themselves I guess....Still couldn't they have photoshopped her scarlet knees?

Seems like Harpers UK is really becoming good, even more intresting than UK Vogue for me atleast...I think I need to buy the Cate Blanchett issue if it's still available here, that was wonderful...and I really regret I didn't buy the issue with Gisele...

UK VOGUE has great eds but the content is a complete bore , people say us vogue is bad? Uk vogue put me to sleep . even UK bazaar is better.

I left it until the last moment to buy the Cate issue, and didn't regret it (I even found a cheap subscription offer inside, of 12 issues for £12, which I immediately went for).

Hmmm, to bad the Alexi Hay ed is the only one. I'm not buying it for just a great cover. That's always the case with UK Bazaar, great cover but mediocre eds.

Yes, overall I love the new magazine, I just wish they'd get the editorials on the same high level as the covers and the rest of the content. The editorials are OK... but when I compare them with UK Vogue, it still has the upper hand.

It'll be interesting to see what both magazines do for their January issues - I was thinking about it this morning. I hope Vogue goes for profiling a new model on their covers, it's time for some change - and with Bazaar, well, anything goes as long as its glamorous, it seems!
