Something about all those nude tulle in the background that drown out the atmosphere. It lacks contrast. Regardless, Cate's timely appearance as the cover subject is glorious and interesting enough for me. I love the head shot.

Seriously, what is everyone talking about? The cover is awful. I adore Cate, but she looks terrible. That tilted back head looks gigantic compared to the rest of the body. That dark shadow. That half-high/half-dead expression. The awkward hair. The rest of the cover is quite ok, but it's ruined by what I just said above. The other image posted would've made for a better cover.

I'm sick of Cate. I'm sick of any celeb that's on her 100th fashion cover, giving her 100th interview on the art of acting regardless how classy she may be.

this magazine always has bad covers they never switch it up, but the editorials are always really good

My subscription hasn't arrived and the issue seems to be out on the stands. Newsstand.co.uk have their copies and the issue comes with some free Christmas cards (which I think is a fantastic idea - I'll be keeping mine for myself

Can't say I saw the issue around central London today. My subscription copy hasn't come either, probably be tomorrow.

^Mine arrived in the mail today, so was eager to rip it from it's wrapping.. to find no Christmas cards inside (highly annoyed). So, luckily whilst I was picking up American Vogue and Bazaar in the store today, I noticed this issue for only £2 (first time they've done a special price, right?). I thought it was worth the £2 - both for having another copy of it and for the cards, so happy nonetheless.

I look forward to sitting down with the issue tonight. There seems to be some goodies inside.. another Victor Demarchelier story for one. I can do a review if anyone's interested?
