It's a thin issue, but I did get the sense of a bit more glamour in the overall content - mainly because autumn fashion generally is more dramatic, with richer fabrics and colours - and it was nice to see a handful of new season ads. Plus, it came with a free L'Occitane face cream.
For me, in terms of subscribing to the magazine, if you can get a deal for £12-15 - where each issue is costing you around £1 - then you usually get enough out of the subscription to make it worth your while, because there'll be months where you'll get a lot of glossy content for your £1 (which will balance out the weaker issues) and it's still a lot cheaper than having to pay £4.20 for it on the newsstand.
I can't say I'm overly crazy about the magazine at the moment, but with the bigger months, I'd still get a pound's worth of clippings out of each issue, even if I throw the rest away after reading.
