At first glance the cover shot is bad, not very flattering at all. The layout and cover text looks nice.
But I'm still not feeling it as much as previous Bazaar covers. UK Bazaar could of done so much better with Julianne.
Thanks for posting tarsha!
Hmm. I'm not sure how I feel about these recent close-up covers from UK Harper's Bazaar. Claudia Schiffer's November cover was bloody amazing, but I'm not so sure about Julianne here, although I'd have to see a lighter, HQ version of it to be certain. The cropping just isn't very good, and the make-up and lighting looks a little harsh on Julianne, even though she is a stunning, beautiful woman.
Inside photos look much better, though. Thanks for posting, tarsha!
^ You're both welcome.
I like this cover. Simple but good.
Love Julianne, love Harper's Bazaar. Heaven
Agree, the cover shot doesn't look very good, but the inside photos look promising. Hope the issue won't disappoint.
i'm not feeling this. she looks like a cancer patient anyway, thanks tarsha!
I love Moore but agree very unflattering shot plus it reminds me of her 'Another Magazine' cover from ages ago but cropped.
Got the issue. It's a textured cover with shiney text. Really nice in the flesh. Subscriber's cover is a full length black and white shot.
Since when Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou works for British Bazaar?...
Soooo Boring, saw it a hundred times!
Adore her, always did, but the cover is not the best. I dont like how her face is half cropped, but i seen worse, and her spread photographs look beautiful.
The full length black and white shot, the first in her ed, is the subscriber's cover. I hope it's the lovely matt textured paper like the newstand cover is.
^ Thank you.
She has been appointed Creative Fashion Director succeeding Alison Edmond, now i'm not sure, but i believe this is her actual first issue being on the masthead. The news has been announced like last year in September though, so she might have started work way before.
I like the cover. Review, anybody?
The cover looks beautiful. I don't know but whenever I see Julianne Moore on the cover of a fashion magazine, I can't help but to fall in love with it. Okay, maybe I'm biased. She looks even more beautiful and stunning in her editorial. Thanks tarsha and honeycombchild for the cover and scans!
