UK Harper's Bazaar September 2016 : Rosie Huntington-Whiteley by Alexi Lubomirski

Gorgeous cover, but it feels like Justine is just rotating the same dozen women over, and OVER again, Jesus, how many times is this now for Rosie?

I do like it though.

Oh yeah, I'm loving this (despite the weird airbrushing around Rosie's chest area). She's been on Bazaar's September cover for three years running now. Can't wait to get this!

Ok that is just nuts! And it perfectly shows how uncreative Justine, and her Bazaar have been. And i was one of those who thought she will be great at the magazine, smh!

Beautiful cover but this magazine's main cover/edits bore me... I much prefer their special cover/features... Kirsty, Audrey, Karen, etc.

Looks Christmasy, no? It's not bad though. I just never thought she was all that pretty, tbh.

Very beautiful, very boudoir, although the 'A-AA' in the masthead makes for a weird-looking word.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm a sucker for any cover Roise is on! She's wifey.

I love the colors and I bet it will pop on the newsstands (which we'll take several months to get to the US).

Can't wait to see the editorial.

Too saccharin, too romance-novel looking with the ivy, too Bratz/Monster High/Ever After High cosplaying for my taste. This doesn’t look anything remotely high fashion.

Love the colours but the pose is a bit odd and it makes her neck look weird.

The image is very inoffensive, which I suppose is ok, but I'm tired of this magazine's obsession with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. And to keep giving her September? She's not even the type of model or actress who's constantly on the everyone's radar.
I shall be getting the limited edition, even if I must wait a bit longer for it.

What's happening with her left boob????

I would say whilst she might not be a model on everyone 'in fashion's radar, she is very much on the radar of the general public. She sells well, which is why she keeps appearing and women relate well to her.

The write up for the article states how her massive her range of underwear for M&S is - their best selling underwear in the brand's history, one in every three pieces of underwear sold with them is from Rosie's range. She's appearing because she's marketable and women, in a very general sense, respond very well to her.

I'm gonna have to agree, it's a little to frothy for my taste. Maybe they wanted to repeat last year's September cover formula. That cover, however, succeeded at being both very feminine and high fashion. This feels like the cover of Barbie magazine.

I'm inclined to believe that women respond well to her, but three September covers back to back? This is overmuch, I'm sorry. In 2014 alone she had both March and September....
Surely there must be other women who could generate good sales?

Harper's is one of the lowest selling women's monthlies in the UK, so I imagine it isn't within their interest to find out. Why break a formula that works where sales are guaranteed.
