UK Vogue August 2010 : Freja Beha Erichsen by Josh Olins

Yeah, yeah.I'm buying this. I know. First Freja cover for UK Vogue and my first Freja
cover ever.

But damn I hate her freakin' hair!!! She looks like a mom. I guess this is what
they call "edgy" nowadays. Does this come with an accompanying Freja editorial inside?

The best Vogue UK cover I`ve seen this 2010. Love the softness of the colors. I love the fact that Freja is here and she looks good.

Freja looks bored, like that's a shot taken between actual takes? Although obviously we've seen much, much worse covers. It kind of flies below my radar. Not ridiculously bad, not great.

That Miu Miu dress is doing well coverwise... wont this make it the third August cover for it?

And seriously, if we get one more neon pink cover I'm going down to those offices to do some yelling.

I don't get the big fuss about the hate going on here. I think the cover looks terrific. Sure, seeing Freja in a pastel orange miu miu number and pink text all around isn't what we're used to. Nonetheless, she still manages to look stunning and effortless and soft and manages to pull the whole thing off. Nice to see her very feminine here. Overall, it exudes a very fresh mood. I think the cover is worth enough for me to get it. Hopefully the content isn't underwhelming.

Okay, upon looking at this cover again, I honestly love how confident Freja looks on it. IMO I don't think most cover girls really look that self assured and confident as she does on this cover, this goes for both actresses and models.

I think it's nice that Freja can look cool and soft. This cover probably suits Vogues aesthetic more anyway. Beautiful Freja!

The weird thing about these rare model covers is that they try to make the model look like the celebrities they work with. It works for some (Lily, Lara, Stam) but Freja represents the antithesis to glamour and Hollywood. She's the little rebel of the industry! Logically the appeal of this cover falls flat, but needless to say I'm happy for her she scored it.

Nice choice of model for the cover (long overdue), but she can do so much better than this.
