i've pretty much given up on british vogue.
the cover is ok, kate can do no wrong in my eyes but the font actually annoys me and makes it seem like they're trying really hard to be edgy or something. it's an interesting pose, good but not great.

on one hand i think this is good that some magazines understand that the cover is there just to sell and announce the content ....
on the other hand i think this is disappointing (and esp. for Vogue UK) to announce Kate Moss in Dior Couture on the cover when, in the end, she has nothing in it .... not even an article ....

Yes I agree. It appears as if she has an ed inside in which she's in Dior HC...very misleading...

Nice cover but how about giving someone else a chance? Like Stella Tennant. VOGUE UK can be so predictable!!

Stella would be a dream come true..Sadly, its going to remain that.

It's already here?! Wow, that's early. I think that's the biggest surprise.

Although Kate Moss is one of my all-time favourites (and I generally don't care for models), her covers in British Vogue have been bad since 2005. They always look cheap, Cosmopolitan-ish... which is odd since Kate can deliver such good work. It's as if they put her in the tackiest clothing and overuse Photoshop... When there's someone else, whether a model or a celebrity, in the cover of British Vogue, they seem to use a complete different technique. It can look very classy. I don't understand why Kate's covers are always made to look like a mess.

That said, I loved Kate's October cover - why did they have to go back to this old format? I don't mind her on the cover if it is done well. But now I wish it were Karen Elson or Lily Cole on the cover.

However, it is far too early to say anything final about the cover - but it looks far too empty and plastic-y. Then again the pose is interesting, more like Brit Vogue covers from the past, 1918-1959. But what's new there? It doesn't seem very different or fresh. And frankly, I have no problem with the current fonts they use (or shall I say used?)... it's mainly the awful use of colour at times that bugs me.

The articles & editorials sound very good, though. Especially looking forward to the customised fans and the "subsconscious aspirations".

exactly my thoughts. pretty misleading because some people would buy the magazine based on that.

Im not crazy about the cover. I guess its different for Vogue UK but its still pretty boring. Unless the content is particulaly good I think I'll give this a miss as well [this must be the 4th in a row Ive not bought it ]

I was almost certain that this issue would have a celebrity on the cover so in that respect pleasently surprised but much as I like the cover, and Kate looks lovely I have to add..........I am just so sick of seeing her on this mag Please give her maybe one cover a year and leave it at that and give another up coming model, or any other model, a chance. Come on!!!!!!!!

^^I'm not sick of Kate........I think she's still fantastic but I am sick of seeing her on the cover of this magazine alone. She has the monopoly on their covers for too long now IMO.

And THIS is why I could give a toss about UK Vogue, KateKateKateKateKate and pretense are a HELL NO to me. Go buy and i-D or something that's at least a decent UK magazine
