Vogue UK June 2007 : Agyness Deyn by Nick Knight

i've skimmed thrugh this thread and from what i've read most people hate the cover. i for one love it. it's cheap and tackey but that's whats great about it. agyness is looking out as if to say "yeah i'm wearing bright pink lipstick, yeah the pictures overexposed, and what?" it's got attitude thats been missing from uk vogue covers of late. as for the contence; i liked darias ed and elises beuty shots, the rest was a bit meh.

I just got it today and I love this issue! The cover looks better in real, the pink is not so 'sugary' compared to the coverscan. Elise looks amazing, Liz Collins us so good in doing beauty stories. I also love the Testino ed, especially the spread with Catherine McNeil is Gareth Pugh's studio and the backstage groupshot at Jonathan Saunders is amazing, love Alana and Lara in that picture. The only thing I don't like is the fact that Agyness's face is too white on the cover.

Is it just me or is British Vogue trying too hard to be 'in'? Obviously that's kind of what fashion is but with Johnny Borrell on the last cover and now Agyness....it's all looking a bit too much like i-D or something like that. I don't like the 'old money country manor' style that UK Vogue has a tendency of doing aswell but I don't like this either. It's all a bit alienating. Leave it to the myspazzers I say!

I got this issue, its really not bad, I didnt like it at first, but the covers a bit better in print, and the content (not including editorials etc) were good too, apart from Miss V...ack...well, the first page was FINE but the next 4 were un-needed.

I havent had time to look through it properly though

Everyone is saying the cover is too bright, I think it's lovely. Very Agyness, I don't think anyone else would fit.

When i received it by subscription I was going home holding the magazine under my arm in order everybody can see what I have I think nobody in my city have Vogue UK By the way, I love the cover, very summer
