Vogue UK June 2007 : Agyness Deyn by Nick Knight

Yes, happy for Agyness scoring a cover, but now Manuva's put into my mind the idea of Lily Donaldson; I've been waiting to see that cover for months. If any top model can do old school elegance, it's her. To the manor born. Belongs on the cover of UK Vogue at least once in her career.

On the plus side, I love the outburst of colour on this cover, and totally welcome the sight of a home-grown model on the front of UK Vogue. And I can just about tolerate the intentionally cheap and tacky styling, because it's all about enthusiam.

But I also hope her facial expression looks less droopy when I see the actual magazine, and I feel uncharitable saying that, but there's something not quite right, I feel. Her expression seems to say: "It's summer and I look stupid." But that's first impressions for you.

I agree more with the first half of the post than the second, but the second part cracks me up!

Lol it's like 2004 again. I always miss the inncoent times. Speaking of innocent, Elise looks really cute! She's my favourite second the the indie girls in this issue.

I tell you, if Agyness ever reads the forum, my comment might not bring a smile to her face! It's throwaway comments like that which give people irrational complexes about their appearance, and makes them start taping their face back before they go to bed, in fear of their face drooping even more. So Agyness, if you're reading, I blame the photographer.

I don't really mind all the pink brightness. It's obviously done with a sense of humor, and could've been kind of fun. But the expression on Aggy's face turns me off.
