UK Vogue February 2009 : Cheryl Cole by Regan Cameron

The interview with Cheryl Cole was the thinnest piece of fluff I've read in a looong time..
The way she was fawned over in the article was ridiculous..

Oh you think she could swing an election ??

What are her merits besides fronting a girl band (with all the studio editing what does that really mean today?), marry a football player (who from the article sound dumb as a door nob ..okay living w. an idiot must take some character) and judge a reality show (aka TV filth, meant to ridicule wannabees with zero talent) ?

It was one of the best interviews in a womans magazine for a longtime.

Well clearly we're going to have to disagree on that one

She is so boring. I hate how the UK press always call her a style icon, when she's...not.

She may not be a style icon to you personally, but she is to many others ^_^

Still haven't bought it!! Plus I can't find it in any stores so I guess it's on its way out (Although yes I was desperate enough to check each shop for it,and I saw Annas ED in print )

I personally don't rate Cheryl Cole style wise, it's not my thing really - but I get why people would call her a style icon totally.
I was more than happy to see her be on the cover of the UK Vogue, and more than happy to sit and read her interview.

It was a good interview I thought, although I can't help but wish they'd explored something a bit edgier with the photos of her.

(and anyway, shouldn't everyone just be thankful it wasn't Colleen Rooney?)

^I'll scan it for you larien... either later tonight or tomorrow for sure.

 :flower:
