UK Vogue February 2009 : Cheryl Cole by Regan Cameron

Hahah i know i hate those pages at the end aswell, lol, thanks so much for the info. :flower:

The fact that her sister is deputy editor has absolutely no input what so ever that she's been designated a 6 page spread ;) (The article in itself was, in my opinion a load of nauseating drivel about her marvelous she is - well what else is her sister going to let them say - and Lisa Armstrong is obviously on a one woman mission to do Samantha's husband's spin machine's job for them)

thanks, interesting and good to know.

Is this the girl which has been expressing her jealousy to Victoria Beckham everywhere she goes????

^ hahaaa, to be honest those were my thoughts exactly when i saw the cover--which wag is next? coleen?

^^I know what you are both sayingB) but come on you cannot compare Cheryl with Alex:yuk: and Colleen.
At least she had her own career going long before she met the 'footballer husband' and has some degree of talent, and is never spoken of as a 'wag' anyhow.

I prefer Alex's appeal over Cheryl. I might of actually prefered it to be Alex instead of Cheryl. But I am very impressed with this issue, the cover is stunning and the pictures of Cheryl are fantastic. When I was picking this issue up, a man behind me in the line said "that's never Cheryl Cole?" He didn't recognize her with the natural make up, witch imo makes Cherly look better. Much better than some of the candids and other photo shoots we see from her.
.. now bring on the March issue :buzz:

^^REALLY!!!!!!!:shock::shock::shock:
I know a little OT here but Alex just isn't attractive at all IMO and she would easily qualify as one of the worst dressed women in Britain today.:ninja:

The thing I like about Alex is her style, hair and face ^_^
But I think I would actually pass out, if she got a VOGUE cover. But I thought that Cheryl was never going to be VOGUE material, and look how it's turned out.
I still stick to my guns, that only Models should appear on Vogue covers. But that is just my opinion.

All the things I don't like.

Definitely got a point there, if you asked me 3 months back would I thought Cheryl would get a Vogue cover I'd have laughed my hairy **** off.

Could not agree more vogue28B) We thinking on the same lines.;)

If UK Vogue is going for fresh and populist choices, surely Alexa Chung - being both celebrity, style fave and former model - would have a better chance than most of getting a cover, though I share Northern Star's opinion of her style...

^ i find alexa chung to be quite overrated, I dont see why everyone's so obsessed with her ... but i can definitely see her on the cover of UK Vogue, it would be a good followup to cheryl's cover i suppose.

I can see Alexa getting a cover anytime soon, but after 2 celeb covers in a row they must return to a model cover for March.:judge:

here's hopeing that after two celebrity covers they treat us to not only a model but something a little artistic in march. i wont be holding my breath though...
