Camilla Akron’s and Nathanial Goldberg’s work for Bazaar produced better “landscape” editorials than Adventures in Wonderland tbh.

Who knew that Annie still had it in her to produce something that looks kinda natural, bright and exuding something that resembles joy.

This issue is the perfect illustration about why I don't want fashion magazines lecturing me, because they cannot help being hypocritical.

We're all supposed to care about the environment and limit our impact, but why not fly to Iceland for a set of photos? And you're supposed to be very conscious of your consumption and wastefulness, when it comes to the true cost of your clothes and what goes on your body, but being similarly conscious of all the unnecessary resources you consume when it comes to what goes in your body - that type of consumption is sold to us as a new frontier of personal expression that we're supposed to support and applaud when we see it.

I'd rather Vogue just presented us with variety of people and places without appointing themselves as the moral arbiter of anything.

This is the first time I am happy with a issue made under Edward. Zendaya looks beautiful, glamour and luxurious. Adventures in Wonderland is absolutely amazing. The Scott trindle's ed bring some fun.

Well done!

P. S : just a little smile seeing that CN still has money to 1) book Annie 2) flying a whole team in Iceland for few photos while we are still in a pandemic.

This is maybe the most American issue of UK Vogue ever.
It’s a good issue but if someone told me that this is UK Vogue, I would not believe it. An ode to NYC?
Where’s the British culture? Even Riccardo’s Burberry feels more British than this…

Now I’m very curious to see the whole issue of US Vogue because I think Annie’s ed will feel more cohesive with the cover story with Lorde.

Better than September.

Which of these will be (is) a shared content across the globe?

I bought it yesterday but didn’t have time to flip through.

the cover is amazing in real life and so is the editorial (looking at was post here).

‘Adventures on Wonderland’ is the highlight of this issue right after the main editorial imo but it’s nothing thaaaaat groundbreaking.

The thing with their global "strategy" is that the differentiation between what a Vogue UK, US, Italy used to be will start to fade away. When all the team now making and sharing content for every Vogue edition, the POV is obviously diluted.

Now my criteria are which editions take the most advantage of their international talents and which are not? Which ones snatched the best local talent to have a little something to their editions and which not?

The inclusion of "A New York Tale" is a perfect illustration of how dumb the global content strategy is. I don't see how this would appeal to anyone outside the US - hell I don't know if it even appeals inside the US

Love the Zendaya ed. She looks grown up and sexy.

Annie Is on the roll is year, I don't think she has a bad editorial in 2021. This just proved that she still has it, if she try or someone willing to push her. And kudo to her for to travel all the way to Iceland for a photoshoot (it's not remotely shoot right?). Now if Vogue can do that with Meisel.

The NY story doesn't do anything for me. It's your standard Vogue US NYC editorial. It's should have been London or somewhere in the UK.

The rest is standard, nothing special.

Between this and Vogue US since they probably share the Annie & NY stories, I'm probably gonna choose the US because I cannot stand the idea of celebrities forcing their own stylists into the magazine. I want to see you through the eyes of different people. If I want to see the works of your team I'll check the RC, which I don't.
