Hi All,
New here, seem like a cool forum...oh...my question..how did Uma thurman loose all that? I really need to loose about 22 lbs within atleast 2½ months. Was thinking of go jogging in the mornings b4 breakfast, going on the atkins diet and aerobics 4 days/week and gym 3days/week.
Sounds good???

I agree probably a trainer - diet and work outs that are controlled and supported

And she claimed she lost all tht eating gummy bear... just dont get why they cant admit that they actually worked hard to look that way,is more of an accomplishment than something to feel ashamed about!

Motivation is the key (something I'm lacking of a lot right now).

When you're at the gym or even at home doing nothing remind yourself of your goal, that way it will prevent you from making any mistakes (cough midnight munchies cough).

Don't worry about it. If it's something you really want you will achieve it.

And as for Uma, was she only eating gummies? Honestly who cares. It's like when models say they eat chocolate everyday. Are they trying to make us jealous.
Block all that out. Focus on what you're doing, not what anyone else is.

Don't forget that she trained for HOURS a day to get into shape for those Kill Bill movies. MUCH effort is required to achieve a body like hers.

lol gummy bears could work - high protein, right?

Actually, I heard that a lot of celebrities just eat a pack of gummy bears instead of lunch or dinner. They contain around 200 calories, so you end up losing weight if you replace a meal with them but its VERY unhealthy.

i've heard that as well... i think liz hurley did it too

I've stopped eating gummies ever since I found out how they make gelatine

has anyone seen her in INSTYLE? I think she looks good but some people here were saying she was over sprayed too tanned looking at the globes and the picture of her lying on the couch she looks orange and you can tell has been sprayed way too much.

I think she's a bit thin for her bone structure.

But on losing weight: Try putting up a pic of your favorite thin person on your fridge

you'll lose weight if you eat anything that is 200 calories for every meal...why not make it healthy?

A cup of yogurt is usually just under 200 calories and gives you calcium. Low sugar yogurt is even lighter, yet still satisfying. Throw a handful or two of granola or meusli in there for texture and fibre, and it makes a perfectly good lunch that will hold you over for quite a while.

I guess the thing is that most people LOVE gummy bears and if they're gonna have just one little thing for lunch it might as well be something you enjoy. I agree though, its much smarter to have a salad or yogurt instead, plus it fills you up more.

I think maybe the way it works is that after awhile ofmunching on nothing but Gummis, you get kinda sickof it or you start feeling a lil sick andlose your appetite? Or at least that's how I would feel :ninja:

On an off topic, sometimes I wish I were a gummy bear. They have such an easy life, so short and sweet.
