For me the Stella McCartney are Rococo inspired.

It's not just literal sea that I see (pun intended ). The waves remind me a lot of the work of Gaudí. Clearest examples are Stella McCartney and Givenchy..

So many designers seem to have taken a dive under the waves this season...

It's interesting to see which designers took what from the ocean. What they chose seems to reflect their vision pretty well.
