A rather brief collection but I think I love it.. it isn't nearly as good as what I still expect from him but for what he's been doing, I'd say he's finally found some good balance between being commercially appealing but still delivering remarkable pieces that won't easily blend with the rest. This seems a bit on the league of what Tess Giberson did some time ago.. which was very lovely.

^that's exactly what i was thinking too,mullet. this is what i hoped he would have done a couple seasons ago rather than that uninspiring safeness he did. this indeed has a really lovely balance. not nearly in that vein of our beloved esoteric sensibility but it's still incredibly romantic and poetic which is better than safe jun.

i'm thinking young ghosts of liberal women at Wellesley College in the 50s... which appears as random but i think it works...it's free-spirited, liberated, modern (for those times and also for today)...
i never quite associate collections with such specific images, but this immediately came to mind when i saw it!

I know, Inaya!. I'm so over the moon with this collection, it's so short and simple I guess but it has excited me like no other show this season.. or the entire year, it's really beautiful, both presentations are, but the one with the mannequins is just too special.
