I think it looks amazing, esp some of the latter ones that runner posted. Of course it's v difficult to wear, but aren't there enough "easy" clothes to go around already, so that we need something like this to make us think a bit again. Some of it does, inevitably, try too hard, but at least it's trying in the first place. It goes without saying - but I'll say to anyway - that the Rei influence is huge.

I'll just be writing what ink has already been spilled over this collection; some pieces are "trying hard", but the latter pieces are incredibly stylish. I think it's in the mix of details; how they did it was amazing.

it looks like the undercover team went to the john galliano school of showmanship...while some of these pieces are quite amazing, they really didn't need to resort to these tricks to draw attention to the collection. let the clothes stand alone.

my.. they are trying too hard.

Not trying too hard, if you know the context, this is from style.com:
The show, according to the invitation, was an "homage to Jan Svankmajer." For those not completely au fait with the underground Eastern European movie world, Svankmajer is a surrealist Czech film director who has been dubbed "Prague's alchemist of film."

They are doing surrealism, expression of dreams, imagination, and unbounded unconsciousness, I think they did well at it -- the masks to take away the human face from fashion, also the animal feathers... They aren't masters of it, no, but it does make you feel a bit like you are dreaming

I like some of it, not bad. Better than the oversized New York City t-shirts, that's for sure.

I actually think that some of the outfits are actually very lovely and innocent looking. I do feel like they are trying too hard to be deep, what with the concepts of the unconscious and whatnot. Especially that random headgear. It reminds me of when Alexander McQueen put out his relatively normal and wearable collection, but then gave everyone antlers to make things appear strange. Really, just stop with the sillyness and show us the darn clothing itself.

Most pictures runner posted are downright slow. But from what I've seen ,I like some of it. It's not very wearable.

exactly, i dont care for old school 'wierd' hommage and whatever.. its boring me, its ancient, get over wih this guys this is not 1988

i believe designers need to get brave enough to speak though their work, sparing us the gimmics, inserting intellectual concepts in their designs is more than enough. and true, trying to see through the visual noise, there certainly are some hidden jems in this collection

just get over the gimmicks :P

ps>the hair on the face is so obviously Margiela, have some respect
