i was doin the usual perusing at my local Value Village and i stumbled on a pair of Uniqlo jeans!

i read the brand label and it reads "UNIQLO women's -66-"

Given we Seattle-lites are always the last to get the good stuff, I've been deprived until now...to my amazement the jeans are 100% Cotton!

if there's no discernable size on it, then it might be a uniqlo pair of jeans that a japanese person has brought back from uniqlo in japan. probably the original cost of the jeans that you bought was 20$.

only 1.5 more more months until uniqlo opens in my city. can't wait!

and you can buy a lot of breton tops at uniqlo online.

thanks for the info lucy! i'm assuming their denim like the majority of brands today have some kinda stretch content? i don't recall them listing the fabric content on their website? anyone know ?

they have many different styles and list materials on their website.

just read that they are going to be raising their prices in japan...
don't know how/if this also applies to overseas markets...

if I understand what they said rightly, the prices are not going to be raised over there at least this fall. it seems that things about prices in the US are not synchronized with things in japan.

i saw the IDLF stuff in store...
have to say it looks way better in person...
there are def some cute things...
not really my style...but it's good and seems to be selling quite well...
they were all out of sizes in some items...
especially the cashmere sweaters...

there is a new thing there now...

all denim and indigo and sweatshirts...
looks quite good...

tried the heat tech extra warm. it seriously works.
thicker than the normal heat tech though.
so it can be a bit bulky under whatever.

after seeing some of this seasons IDLF stuff in the store the other day, i decided to just check at my local store for that cute navy cap and i wound up getting that along with these two tops...
the sweater is 100 % linen and really sheer- i got it in a sz large in order for it to be really drapey...i love the red trim!

I'm a sucker for multiple plaids on one garment, and Uniqlo does them quite frequently, and quietly nicely too, I might add (attached examples notwithstanding). And when I think of "multiple plaids" and "clothes from Japan", I immediately think of one of CdG's offshoot lines, which is to be found nowhere around here, so this is the closest I'll get.

Lucky you to fit into that cap, softgrey! I tried to try that on the other day, no way it would enter my head, embarrassing ...

I don't know if it's just LA but +J is like up for grabs at the moment, it makes me a little sad but secretly very happy too. I got a black dress for 7 dlls .. the cashier was looking at me like I was crazy buying all that winter stuff (it was 90 degrees today!) but hey a deal's a deal .. I read complaints about the fit of that dress but I for one LOVED it.. and it's super warm, I know I'll need it one day.
