US Bazaar June 2006: Jennifer Aniston

Well her magazine cover(s) are very one dimensional, and plain fugly!

^oh, sorry about htat. i didn't know the thread was just for discussion of the cover. But yeah, i do admit it looks just like the vogue one. It might just be the photographers though.

Flipped through it very quickly on the stands. Jen's pics are ok, by Alexi Lubomirski. The other editorials are all fall fashion, with an extended runway report feature. First story is by Alasdair McLellan with Freja. There's a Richard Burbridge story with Natasha Poly. And one more story for which I forgot both the photographer and the model. I think it was Caroline Trentini? Not sure so don't quote me. The Freja story was quite cool.

Oh god, also an extremely scary Dynasty reunion with Joan Collins and Linda Evans, shot by Terry Richardson. It's kind of hilarious in its sheer tackiness.

I like the Jen pictures, she looks fresh and beachy, if beachy is a word a very good look for her. I don't really buy her in high fashion shots. She looks best when she's the girl next door.

I loved the Dynasty photos. So very 80's an over the top. Perfect for the subject matter and damn if Joan Collins hasn't frozen herself in time. It was insane looking at those pictures of her and Linda Evans. Insane.

I find it hilarious that Bazaar has JUST gotten wind of leggings as a fashion trend. Is it just me or are leggings already out? I feel as though that whole look is overexposed but maybe its just me.

The Natasha Poly and Freja edits aren't bad either. Albeit a tad common. Both girls look good though.

I did love their denim article as a person who has a hard time shopping for jeans I found some of the tips informative.

Received my copy in the mail today...I don't see a third editorial There's the spread with Jen, then the Freja edit, then Natasha...and that's it. After that is the Runway Report and then the aforementioned Dynasty article + pics.

Who gives a sh*t if she's not beautiful to you. I didn't think beauty was a requirement to get on magazine covers. And she has a good personality to make up for her 'seemingly lack of looks'.

You're probably right. I flipped through it so quickly that I think I thought that the Natasha editorial was actually two different ones. Oh well. Sorry guys. False alarm.

i really like jennifer aniston and am looking forward to "The Breakup" with VV. i think the newstand cover is more flattering, frankly. i got my subscriber one today.

BUT, i just have to say this as a general comment about celebs on fashion mags in general...


is there an ultra hush hush society where initiation rituals, secret handshakes and voodoo ceremonies are practiced so that the SAME GIRLS over and over get these covers??


i mean if it's not jennifer aniston (who i love) it's uma or natalie or reese or gwyneth or drew (have i missed somone?)...i mean it has just gotten so incredibly BORING!!
