I just got the issue last night and so far I like it. The first couple of pages discuss fashion, style, culture, and other fun stuff from two decades ago (the 80s) in a celebration of Elle's 21 years in the U.S.
The most interesting thing I've found (so far) in this issue is the two page collage of Elle covers. It's interesting to see the effect that models have on magazine covers vs. the celebrities. When you see the Model covers are artistic and creative and are more about an expression of the idea or concept for the issue; whereas the Celeb covers mostly showcase the celeb and the issue becomes secondary. However, I must say that I always did love the Angelina Jolie June 2000 cover. Maybe because she looks like a model there.
