What’s the point of getting so much work done to STILL cover your face with hair in editorials? Kinda sad.

Ah yes, the Netflix series.

Even if I don't end up buying this issue, I do own eleven of her eyeliners, so she's already received my attention and my money.

It takes months for US Elle / Bazaar to arrive in the UK, and by that point, I've moved on - the Summer issue with Lindsay Lohan is still on sale.

You could never make me dislike the sight of Victoria Beckham on the covers of fashion magazines. She loves fashion, and I love her for that alone. American Elle appears to be heading back in the right direction with this. Another strong cover from them. The mood and colouring is perfect for October!

If you're not an eyeliner enthusiast, it probably seems absurd that it could be a passionate topic, but you could say the same about a lot of things in life.

The cover and editorial photographs are just average. They offer nothing new. A few of the outdoor photographs are passable. The studio shots are lazy and unnecessary.

Not even a Victoria Beckham fan, but I was disappointed to see that my subscription copy arrived with A$AP Rocky on the cover. I don't mind him (I don't think he's been terribly productive or relevant in culture, other than fathering Rihanna's children, in nearly a decade), but it's baffling that he's on the cover of Elle.
