Really bad issue. Nothing memorable at all, nothing even remotely decent. Maybe Dan Martensen's editorial isn't abominable, but it looks like a reject from WSJ at best! You would think a Hearst base publication would make the most of the ridiculous situation at CN and grab some of their top-tier talent who are no doubt entirely disillusioned by the "global" homogenisation over there (I would assume?), but no. I mean there are good new photographers and talents as well. How can you be woke when your content looks so dead? Why do trees have to be sacrificed for this? I think Samira should be forced to go and replant some in Turkey and Greece following the forest fires, given how she wasted so much paper for this issue.
Can't someone just have fun with fashion, use references again and commit to producing something worthy of effort? It can be done and go hand in hand with diversity and increased human decency!! Man I save so much money from literally never buying magazines in the last 5 - 6 years.
Oh and lastly, I don't want to see Elissa Santisi's name anymore unless it's preceded by the words "photographed by Raymond Meier" (yes, I said it).
