US Harper's Bazaar May 2018 : Gigi Hadid by Mariano Vivanco

I think the covers are great, but again what is with the styling? It looks like winter wear!

Love everything about this. Don't care what anybody says, Gigi pretty much always delivers on covers. She's truly got Supermodel vibes (although certainly more Cindy than Linda, obvs).

That newsstand cover is a seriously good beauty shot!
Everyone may be tired of Gigi and Kendall, but the covers and eds they did for Bazaar in the past couple months are far superior than the Jlo and Gomez dribble.
And back in the 90s it wasn't unusual to see the same few models on the cover several times a year. So, as long as Bazaar and UK Vogue are bringing models back to the forefront, I'm completely onboard.

She looks like she just ate a sloppy burger or hotdog with too much ketchup in shot number 7 and 8. Definitely not a good color of lipstick to wear. I surprisingly love all the covers though. The only way to make her interesting is to glam her up.

LOL But is it too much to ask magazines who do that to actually give us real working worthy models though instead of these instacrap girls over and over again?

The cover is stunning. One of Glenda's best in years! The editorial is too much though. And red lipstick doesn't work favors for Gigi.

So, as long as Bazaar and UK Vogue are bringing models back to the forefront, I'm completely onboard.

At the expense of quality? I'd rather have a gorgeous cover with an actress, than laud over a subpar cover just because its a model.

yeah why they are making Vivanco shooting like Richardson...i understand the commercial style, but commercial can be very interesting too if done properly...starting to stop Joanna Hillman to style shoots...

I saw on Carine's instagram a picture of her new editorial shot by Alexandra Von Fuerst and model Ina Maribo

even though i loathe both gigi and the concept of the shoot, i must say the closeup portrait makes a stunning cover, wow!

Why is there so many fall clothes in April?! I’m like Ewww go away winter!! It’s a total turn off when Spring has just got here.

Seeing the newsstand cover with a dark red masthead and no text in #33 gives me flashbacks of the magazine back in the 90s. The dark red masthead and a minimal amount of text would've been just wonderful.

Pre-fall is considered High summer technically and the clothes are usually in-stores around May/June so magazines will promote them. Keep in mind Resort clothes are promoted in magazines as early as November followed by Spring/Summer in January and unless you’re living in the south it’s rather unrealistic lol.

Love Åkrans's ed. So fresh and differnet from other studio-con-white-background stupid pages!
