It’s a nice enough photo I suppose, but I’ve always found her much more interesting onscreen than off, and as a cover, this just isn’t capturing my interest.
For me, the real issue is that we're not seeing a man on the cover of an issue covering World Menopause Day, I mean, where is the representation? It's disgraceful. Have they no interest in breaking the real boundaries facing women's magazines?
Also, it's a women's magazine.. if orgasms get articles in every issue and certainly make it to the cover when some women can't even relate and just understand it as a concept and it's marketed as a "preference" that is okay not to always experience LOL, I think it's positive that they're normalizing something that has been taboo and even an 'insult' for so long. I know my mother and my aunts were oh-so nervous about even mentioning the word when they first started experiencing symptoms and it was absolutely not something you'd seek treatment for, let alone discuss in my grandma's generation, you just had to put up with the rollercoaster in secret and with shame cause god forbid you reach that stage!, so yeah.. if as women we're all heading there, it can be an interesting conversation, and skip the hOw iS iT ReLaTeD tO fAsHiOn?1!, hmm I don't know, how is Camila Cabello related to fashion? exactly. Yet menstrual cycles actually impact sartorial choices and image..
