I don't know if it's Amy Schumer, the photographer or the retoucher but every magazine cover she gets looks like a joke to me

This angle and this pose, with the face half in water, half not... well, it's just never going to be a great shot to me. I have zero interest in seeing someone's armpits either, I just don't understand it. At least it's summery I suppose and Amy's delivering all the same. She's got conviction in that armpit-baring pose.

What is interesting to me about this cover is that her boyfriend posted this on Instagram awhile back and I've got to say he may have taken the superior Amy Schumer submerged in water photo.

I used to LOVE Mad magazine growing up (while all the posers read Popular Mechanics for Kids :lol). So yes, can absolutely see a ginger-haired Alfred in this shot.

I find the concept spectacular, it's just the execution and casting which failed. There are not enough swimming pool covers or campaigns in fashion. But they've gone way overboard with retouching her face (actually prefer this to the original), and the angle is just weird. The pose just looks a bit suffocating.

This cover is the magazine equivalent of a myspace angle. Boobs and face to the fore - and everything else covered up with words or water.

Agh, think I'm cancelling my subscription. The last cover with Victoria Beckham was okay, but the rest have been awful and the content is getting worse and worse. Laura Brown has done a terrible job IMO.

This cover is failing in every single possible way. She has zero sex appeal and clearly that's what they're trying to sell us on.

Jennifer Lawrence effect. Give the girl with the least amount of fashion interest or relevance some spotlight in order to appeal to a broader demographic. At least Lawrence is a Dior spokesperson, Amy is not even repping for a fashion brand.

I'm fed up with 'widening the circle' if it means we are lumped with the likes of Emily Ratjakowski and Amy Schumer.

i find it slightly amusing Amy gets so many fashion covers, not only is she not interested in fashion at all, she actually makes fun of it and puts it down. That is fine, but it just makes these covers look even more bizarre and silly. Does she even sell well? i also miss the old white backdrop
