I love Kristen Wiig, but if I were a subscriber I think I’d be disappointed to not get a Zendaya cover. Even with magazines experiencing such a dearth of (professionally photographed) content throughout the pandemic, they’re still on their multi-cover BS. Interesting.

Also is it just me or does the photo immediately draw your eyes to her chest in a super awkward way.

The 'fashion is back' cover line is enough to make me go weak at the knees and I'd like to think this was the mentality of ALL editors putting together their September issues - also instantly transporting me back to Gisele's cover of American Harper's Bazaar February 2002 cover!

Fabulous newsstand cover, love the minimal styling and how sultry it feels. Yet perhaps the newsstand cover and the shot of Zendaya in the Christopher John Rogers gown are the only things I am able to fully appreciate here. The subscribers cover and feature ain't all that.
