US Vogue April 2005 : Drew Barrymore by Annie Leibovitz

drew looks nice....but too much font all over the place...iffy on the lion as well.

Very Renaissance looking...definitely looks more like a VF cover!

I'm not a fan of Drew's but at the same time, this isn't the worst cover I've seen - a little below average, though. I don't like it too much.

Looks more like a Vanity Fair cover to me.

That was my first thought... Sometimes I like Drew, sometimes I don't... I like the cover, but Vogue is getting so tired.

verry princess like... reminds me of her Cinderella movie

I agree. Maybe thats what they're going for...since she comes from a long line of hollywood actors/actresses. Her family members reach back to the silent film era of movie making.

OmG!!! Beautiful, looks like something taken out of the pages of a fairy tale. That dress is heavenly! It's suppose to be mine! *Drools*

It's a beautiful shot, although tainted by the fact its purpose is a US Vogue cover. :ninja:

It actually looks like a painting if it wasn't for the big red letters that screamed VOGUE. The pic is actually quite pretty, but if the lettering was done just a little bit better, it might make the whole cover look nicer.

i quite like it... it does have the air of an old oil painting, or a well done pencil crayon illustration...
and she somehow always reminds me of a character out of a da vinci piece....something about her facial features.

also, the first thing that I thought about was the lion the witch and the wardrobe, the lion reminded me of naslan... I would LOVE to see Annie do a series based on that premise.

I am impatiently anticipating the chronicles of narnia movie......

i would think that without the garish fonts, this picture is frame worthy, but that is my opinion. dont hurt me :P

I don't mind it too much, but it really is more VF than Vogue.

For a Vogue cover I think it's ridicueles (sp?), what about a real model? :innocent:

But as a Drew-fan I  the picture (AND the lion :D ) and I'm happy for her she is on a Vogue cover, who doesn't want to be? :flower:

Beautiful picture! But i prefer her absolutely gorgeous boyfriend FABRIZIO MORETTI.. i LOVE him!

Better then most, but there's something about it that keeps it from being good

It's agreed, it should've been done sans the lion.

she looks like an old lady in these pics, but i guess that was the point......how hilarious!
and not very vogue like at all.....
