Grace x Steven x Marc x Guido x Pat makes me so sleepy. They are still great, but even Prada dropped Pat for Lynsey Alexander, and Ashley Graham is doing VS, it's time to shake things up

I don't think the Vogue cover will increase the value of her work any more than the Kerry James Marshall or John Currin covers increased the value of theirs. Anna is already an established success with the right people in her corner and her work can already go for... in the millions. I think Marc is just genuinely a fan.

The first image in "Heel Toe" is driving me crazy, I can envision an identical photograph I saw in an issue of (maybe) Elle France by Hans Feurer (I think... or Harri Peccinotti or Peter Knapp or Andre Carrara)... am I losing my mind??



The closest I can find are these photos by Andre Carrara in an Elle editorial from Oct 1971, the shoes are cut off because my scanner at the time was too small, but I swear... there's another photo out there that is even more-on-the-nose and it has been bugging me ever since I saw it!!
