It's tiny but ...
"Extra" got the exclusive first look at the lovely Jennifer Lopez reinventing herself with a retro photo layout in the new issue of Vogue. The magazine's contributing editor Jonathan Van Meter received a very personal performance of Lopez's new single when he went inside the private life of Mr. and Mrs. Marc Anthony.
"I felt like any second I was going to get a lap dance from her," Van Meter revealed. "They're never out of each other's radar range, and they call each other 'mommy' and 'poppy' and they sing to each other. They're always touching each other. There's something really close about them."
In addition to close, the couple is certainly guarded. Jennifer revealed to Van Meter that, "In a weird way, because everything got so out of control, I feel like I just broke down and just kind of went away for a year."
And now that Jen is back, she's still not willing to talk -- she brought Oprah's show to a halt during an October appearance when she refused to comment about Marc on camera. "Oprah pushed one more question, and she said, 'I'm sorry, I can't talk about this stuff, I can't talk about my personal life anymore,'" Van Meter recalled.
And a smiling Jennifer told us the same thing at a recent premiere, when she insisted, "Oh gosh, I'm not talking about all that crazy intimate stuff."
So it's all work for Ms. Lopez these days. Her new movie, "Monster-in-Law," starring Jane Fonda, comes out next year along with a new pop CD. And then there's her first ever Spanish-language album produced by her husband.
"She basically says that he is kind of a task master and he says, 'No this is bad,' 'No, this is really good,'" Van Meter told us.
So with all the projects, the million-dollar question remains: will there be time for children? Jennifer says absolutely. "The thought of having a child is scary to her, therefore she has to have a child," Van Meter confirmed.
