the editorial is much better. The Mikael Jansson editorial is gorgeous. I thought Sherita Dehon was also in it but maybe Imaan just looks different depending on her angles. Its gorgeous and it was shot in Hawaii

Probably the only US Vogue I have been excited about in ages, the cover although not my favorite, is a major step up from what we have seen this past year. I am beyond thrilled to see Imaan in not one but two editorials and one with Liya nonetheless.

Also can't wait to see Vanessa and Amanda's shots, and I'm sure Sam will kill it as usual. I'm a big fan of McDeans work but hopefully the shots will look nothing like the cover.

Overall, a great way to start the new year in my opinion.

As much as I don't mind seeing Cate Blanchett on the cover of a magazine, I'm more interested with the fact Craig McDean shot it. I almost forgot McDean's shot a few other covers for American Vogue, though. Cate does look good here, it's a rare occasion when she delivers an unflattering photograph to be honest.

I agree, I love that it's shot by McDean. And, unpopular opinion, but I think Cate always looks bland in pictures; even if she's absolutely beautiful. She just always looks the same to me. But I like this cover because of the styling, the Celine dress looks great.

This sounds like a fantastic issue, I can't wait to see all the model editorials. The cast could not sound more exciting! Thanks for the review, kroqjock!

That has to be one of the dreariest images by McDean. They really tried to make a statement with that Céline dress but the accessories just cheapen the effect of whatever 'boldness' they were going for.

Pleased with the models included in this issue especially Sam and Imaan's debut.

US Vogue is so dull
And I know I deserve everyone's wrath for saying this, but, they really need to stop will all the damn Photoshop.
Cate's face just looks weird to me.
Every month I look at US Vogue covers and it's such a let down.

It is nothing compared to the Beyoncé March cover but...

Number one, the fact that is not Miley Cyrus as rumors had been saying.

Number two, the fact that this woman looks her age instead of them editing and photoshopping the life out of her face.

Number three, the colors don't make me want to grab for a sick bag, and it's somewhat subdued compared to the rest of the covers this year. I also see it as the least commercial cover we have had this year.

Notice how I said majority though and not all of them. Also this is just a good way to start off the year, nothing that will stop you in your tracks but something that looks good on the shelves and the content is the most exciting I have seen in a while.
