Angelina Jolie is actually one celeb I wouldn't mind in Vogue. Plus she hasn't been on the cover in a long time, unlike Sandra who was on 2 years ago.

For me, I feel that the cover is nice - but 'nice' doesn't make for a killer cover, and added to that, two editorials don't make for a keeper issue. I'll buy it, but I can't see myself keeping this issue intact a day after I get it... that's my measure of this mag. One for the scrapbook, not for the collection.

More dish on Angelina Jolie's highly anticipated return to Vogue magazine as she poses for photographer to the stars, Annie Leibovitz.

The shots are apparently some of the sexiest Angie has ever taken. The layout marks the official return of Angelina Jolie the sex symbol.

The setting is an ode to one of the biggest loves in her life -- flying. Angelina strikes a pose on an old airfield near the desert with gorgeous small planes acting as a dramatic backdrop. The 31-year-old actress also poses effortlessly near gritty sand dunes while donning the latest threads from the recent Spring 07 shows from New York Fashion Week.

And just for good measure, Angelina gives a loving - albeit subtle - nod to beau Brad Pitt as she makes motors purr posing alongside some handsome motorcyles.

As for when the mag hits newsstands? Think January...ish.

Funny enough, according to Anna Wintour (in her "letter from the editor" page), she had rejected Steven Meisel's first shooting of Sandra, playing an attendee at the Black and White Gala. Sandra, fearful of flights, had to take a bus to LA to meet Steven for this 2nd shoot. Incidently, her bus broke down for 24 hours, en route from Austin, Texas.
