The issue with Meisel is that he hands over, to Vogue, a very tight edit of images that he wants published. He doesn't hand over anything that he doesn't like. The magazine wants him to hand over the bulk of what he shoots.

This looks so insanely bad. I think people should be free to exercise their profession as long as they can do it, but none of the people featured here can do it anymore with the exception of Linda. She looked like a goddess in her tv appearances last week but that's not apparent here because the pictures are so awful but all the rest should retire, Cindy Crawford looks horrific. How does this magazine even sell anymore?

Poor little Edward Enninful. The whole backing of the billion dollar news media industry behind him, building him up just like they built the kardashians and lady gaga, but like the kardashians and lady gaga, the numbers aren't there, the goods aren't there and most importantly the talent isn't there. All three are destined to the dust bin of history.

It's not the women, really. It's the photographer's fault. Look at their work with any other photographer and you'll see that, for the most part, they've still got it. Linda more so than any other, her recent work has been incredible aside from this mishap. Christy's always been a natural and she's still got it in her to deliver incredible images. Naomi is a frozen image of herself, sort of iconic for it but also growing stale - she can do good work with the right photographer still. And while Cindy is the weakest link for me personally, I still enjoy some of her work. They all deserved better than this glorified mall ad photo session.

Naomi doesn't add anything to the table anymore and it's someone that should have been cancelled decades ago given her physical abuse of subordinates and sabotaging of other model's of color careers, but like enninful she keeps being endorsed. Like i said, dust bin of history. not that they care, they only care about their bank accounts and their glory which everyone keeps on making bigger, but they are done.
