Here's a reminiscence of the 1970s that we don't usually see, more Brady Bunch than the usual disco or hippie references we see with regularity. The silhouette is modernly updated, though still very modest.

I don't know, this is a really odd collection to me... the construction is impressive as always... but the looks are downright ugly in parts...

^i dunno if you ever watched but there was a british sitcom legend from the 70's and very early 80's by the name penelope keith who dressed exactly like this! loved the way she dressed.

i actually really love it....kind of back to her old poet-blouse,cape-laden and pleated floor-length skirt early years

^ Yes! Dame Penelope is the greatest  Damn you Scott, you're going to make me like this collection in spite of my initial take.

^hehe...gosh she was the best. her style on "to the manor born" very british when i look at this.

Just regal.

Those leather pieces look so fluid and languid, so light, but still tough. The mix of soft and delicate-- laces, bows, with the hard and textured-- the tweeds, leathers is executed with her distinct, effortless flare. Those delicate lace-y tops that at once resemble lingerie-- and a lederhosen is exactly the type of perfect fusion. It's Nordic, it's 1970s, it's Bohemian and it's seductively proper, graceful-Victorian. But, the references aren't precise so her women aren't trapped in retro-limbo, costume-y or kitschy styles. It's timeless.

I'm seeing Spanish gothic for some reason, maybe in the textures, edges and heights in the first half. The shirts are gorgeous and that lace bra looks lovely!

and the poem fragments!
