I thought Christy would be on the cover, throughout Inez & Vinoodh's careers they have constantly used Christy & have created great work with her. Christy & Jessica are the two models that work best with Inez & Vinoodh, and vice versa if that makes any sense.

What I'm really enjoying about this issue right now is the little marketing scheme V has cooked up. I think everyone who has seen the pictures thus far has begun following the general progression on their website and is planning to buy this issue. Its all very exciting. Everyone is wondering which models will be next, who are the non-models, why wasn't this model used and so on so forth. It really gets people talking - sure it doesn't hurt that the pictures are beautiful but I really love this whole releasing one picture per day until the issue drops thing. I wish they'd do something this neat every month. Granted V always does little previews but I think this month they've really outdone themselves. Think about it - its not even a September issue and yet there is this buzz. Personally I'm completely excited for it and August issues can be well...filler but this is very cool.

They better have some pictures of Jessica Miller in this. I haven't seen her mentioned thus far but I & V shouldn't forget their number 1 girl. I'm hoping to see Natasha Poly and Hilary Rhoda as well - they've taken a shine to them recently as well. Ooh! Or Liya - I know they've worked with her before.

I second the call for Brazilians in this editorial.

I never got the appeal of Raquel but i love Christy's cover. I love how this issue is primarily focused on models

well yes she didnt vanish...but she had no fashion campaigns for SS07, and did less editorials than before.

That's how I feel about this issue as well. There are already 12 pages on it and it's not even out on newsstands yet; that's definitely saying something. I have a feeling this issue will be extremely popular for the reasons you stated - they've built up a sort of excitement and anticipation by doing this "preview a day" scheme.

However, I don't think they should plan on doing that every month. It's refreshing to see this sort of idea once, but I think it would lose its appeal if we saw the same thing occurring every single month. They should consider the idea of conducting this same "experiment" every August.

Lovely covers, this is the second time for Christy, not a fan of Raquel but her cover is slighly more profined although Christy just serves you the raw!
