I wish they had a picture together but both covers look very good. Raquel looks JUST like Jerry Hall in that picture. Its absolutely uncanny. I love that V is going back to its bread and butter of model covers. For some reason they never seem to get the celeb covers right yet their model covers are always on point. I don't even mean that as a diss to celeb covers in general but for some reason V's are always exceptionally atrocious. I almost feel like its on purpose.

Raquel's cover is absolutely AMAZING...so regal and expensive and powerful!

So happy to see a Christy Turlington cover that's still editorially driven and strong. I actually quite like her the relative cheeky quality to it!

Man, this is just set to be a quintessential issue!

Raquel does look like Jerry, but without the spark...For the life of me I can't understand why they didn't put the girl on the cover - who does not need hair, hats, hands, flighty shirts, sunglasses, or shade on half of her face, and who can still pull you in without any trick of the light.

I was thinking about a mix btw Jerry Hall and.... Jodie Foster.... do not ask me why Jodie Foster... but she reminds her... a little...
and Raquel is very good for the cover... she's "mature" model, now... non? she works for a long time... and Christy... good "come back" with a V cover!!!
It's good to have women... and not teens...

I could not agree more with Luxx about the V on the cover... it's very well executed for both... it seems Inez & Vinoodh think of the V before shooting...
by the way who styled this black and white chic cover?

I can see Jodie too, the forbidding twist of the mouth and that semi-butch glare. Actually looking a little like a blonde Charlotte Rampling...Not saying it isn't good...but a cover of Snejana alone could have been seminal . Her editorial shots shows she's peaking...we need it captured on covers all over the world for posterity. Hoping someone has the sense to give her a wider public cover...
