Haute couture is more like a haute caricature.
For him, couture means big embroidered gowns, endless layers of tulle, and an approach that is maximalist and excessive, lacking intention or substance. Looks like he doesn’t have anything to add to the conversation besides “big gowns, and even bigger gowns”. If this is his approach to couture, then I’m sorry but his voice isn’t needed.
I mean I’m not even mad at him anymore since he delivered exactly what I expected from him.
I’m gonna move on from his Valentino just like I did from his Gucci. This time it’s only taken me 4 collections.
