Vanity Fair October 2014 : Robert Downey Jr. by Sam Jones

It's actually quite nice

This is ok, I guess. I mean it'll probably sell because everybody seems to like this guy, not sure why - I don't get his appeal. VF must just stop with this vintage-ish vibe they're always pulling. It's like they're forever referencing their own archival covers.

Excellent cover. To me, this is what Vanity Fair covers should look like.

This is like the VF covers of the eighties and early nineties which often had a slightly humorous edge to them. This is really nice.

love this cover. and love RDJ. this will likely be a great read, as well. :)

I love him. The image is interesting and cool. The layout is not distracting. This cover is a win on all aspects imo :)

There's a lot of text on that cover, yet somehow, it all balances out and doesn't distract from the image itself.

If someone had told him all those years ago that he'd go on to make such a big return, would he have believed them? Sure, he might have wished for it, but for it to have actually happened must seem like going from a nightmare to a fairy tale.

I see they can't keep away from the Kennedys, though.
