I have been looking for the pic for ages! They were engaged, it's true. I just think Nikki doesn't want to own up to being with a black girl. I bet his Crue bandmates gave him **** for it. How do you know he mistreated her?

Anyway, how do I know he mistreated her? Just because of things i've heard and he also mentions it in his book. He's yelled horrible things at her,talked to her and about her like she was garbage, and punched her in the face and dragged her by her hair. I don't think it's about him not owning up to being with a black girl because everyone knows it and he's been with several unfamous ones that he even mentions in the book. He mentions and admits she was his girlfriend and refers to her as such many times. Also, his friends talk bad about her because she was soo beyond strung out on freebase, not about her being black. Also, his crue band mates thouht she was a nice girl until she got so strung out with Nikki. She and nikki were completely BOTH crackheads/baseheads. I think his bitterness is just, it didn't work out between them, so he's bitter. They were set to marry in Egypt and start a family right away. He mentions how he always wanted bi-racial children and he wanted her to mother them. They had it all planned out and he called it off so they got into this huge physical fight and he flushed the ring down the toilet. Poor Vanity I think they've since then made amends when she contributed to his book. Well, according to Sixx.

-Yes, she contributed to Heroin Diaries as Evangelist Denise Matthews. The book, if you haven't read it, is set up like an actual diary. So, there's like an entry, and below the entry, in red, he gets some of the ppl mentioned in the diary entry to reflect and comment on it. Vanity, being his fiance/girlfriend at the time, made an appearance in quite a few entries. A must read if you're a Vanity fan. Anyway, did he love her?? Hmmm.. I think he probably thought he did at one point..but when drugs are involved, he might've just loved the "idea" of their relationship instead of her. He did get a roman numeral V tattooed on his upper arm that he later transformed into a roman numeral IV (6rolleyes:. He called it off because, according to him, they didn't "belong" together. They were too screwed up and high all the time and their relationship basically revolved around drugs. Anyway, many entertaining entries in there involving Vanity. There's this one quote in there where he says "Why can't Vanity turn into a bottle of Jack after sex". HA!

Well, Prince was still seeing Susie when Vanity 6 was going on, as well as Susannah Melvoin, the sister of Revolution guitarist Wendy Melvoin, who later was in the Prince created group The Family.

I didn't know that,thats very strange and freaky,jokes. Besides Susan was so young,but yes very pretty. Anyhow I love that song she wrote & sang 'Drive Me Wild'...its one of the three Vanity 6 songs I really love,jokes. I wonder what she is doing today.

Susan was not that young. She was the same age as Prince. They lied about her age to make her younger to fit that little girl image. She married and dropped out of the biz. Her husband was killed in a car wreck, I believe. She was spotted a few years back at a Prince show in Florida.
