It's so glossy and young,but I can still feel the "Versace" vibe coming from the clothes,and remember this is a resort collection...so I'm not really complaining

^ I'm not 2010 has been a terrible year for Versace
Fall 2010 took me ages to like, and there are still some pieces in there that are terrible. Everything else this year has been very very not up to standard I think.

well, just look at what a difference better lighting and a wind machine can make...

the lipcolor is still crap tho. as is the final periwinkle dress/gown.

but i like the yellows, greens and oranges.

As for Fall Winter womenswear show,I understand why so many people hated it...the main problems is that it was a good collection but many tiny details ruined it...just to name a few:
1)of course the horrendous casting(which was even worse than the previous season one)
2)the lenght of the leather pants was wrong
3)some gowns being very unflattering on models and with many unnecessary cuts,like the one on Abbey or the white on Vlada and Lindsey
4)the first zipper details dresses,and some ugly skirts
5)the lacking of an "it" accessory,shoes and bags were good,but SS10 vicious heels were amazing

Humm, there are some nice pieces in the collection, but I still absolutely hate the shoes . The entire collection reminds me of SS 2003 in general moreso than SS 2005 .

well after seeing it as a whole it isnt terrible as a resort collection
still thinks some pieces were on the tacky side but for the most part i like

the accessories were gorgeous...i want those shoes and those bags

The collection looks kinda tacky. I do like the black long dress and the shoes are okay.

Lots of negative comments. I really didn't like FW10... That collection kind of reconciliate me with Donatella - great colors, very interesting details... shoes are wonderful unless for these stretched and drapé kind of violet unflattering dresses - looks like SS10 is an everlasting dream.
