Versace S/S 07 : Angela, Carmen, Carolyn, Kate, Doutzen & Jonathan Rhys Meyers by Mario Testino

I love the ads, they look like a throwback to the 90's, and Kate has never looked better especially in that gold minidress!

Love the ads, even though it's Kate... really bored of her.

Maybe Versace should stop making bags all together. :innocent:

Those bags in the ads do look awful but if you go look in the Pre-Fall Versace thread, the new bags really aren't that bad. But I like the ads. Can't wait to see the ones with the formal/long dresses.

thank you!
I still think Kate and Carolyn look out of place, or maybe it's just me:unsure:

You aren't the only one. Believe me. :flower:

Hum ... its a departure from the other seasons ... V is improving ... whichs always good in my book

I'm actually a little disappointed by them. I love that they chose Carmen and Carolyn, but Doutzen doesn't really do anything for me and I doubt I need to comment on Kate.

Plus, the concept just seems all wrong to me. I would have gone one of two ways, one would be something slightly futuristic, but not overt. Very spare and architectural set, possibly all black or all white and really use the more avant garde looks from the collection with those huge paillettes and armour plates. The other would be going back to the classic Versace formula of a plain backdrop with the girls posed in sort of "classical" poses, like statues, in all of those beautifully draped dresses.

Oh I love both of those ideas! ^_^:flower:

you know, i really expected more color. the collection was FILLED with all those great yellows and hot pinks, and here its all kind of blah! oh well, hopefully more to come.

I don't know why Versace insists on doing a studio shoot that actually looks like it takes place in a studio, as in a studio apartment. It reminds me of the setting of Madonna's Versace campaign.

The clothes as usual are hideous (get over the gold Donatella) but i love Carmen and Kate. JRM is a minger.

phew! i thought i was the only one ... jrm is, yeah, what you said :ninja: ... i don't mind the hair and i don't care about these evoking gucci ads ... it's just an awkward mix of playful, sexy, sleek and architectural concepts. but carmen's featured which i adore :woot: :crush:

it's good to see Jonathan  even though I hate versace

Kate bores me to death! What is so special about her ads? Look at her face, it says "I'm about to PMS"!

I  Doutzen.

Oh and edit: I SO DO NOT LIKE KATE MOSS.
